Save to this browser is fastest — your scripts appear in the list for one-tap reopening. But they live only in this browser on this device, and clearing your browser data (or using Private mode) erases them.
Save as a file (the ⤓ button) makes a real document you keep. It survives clearing the browser, and you can back it up or move it to another phone or computer.
Save a file on iPhone
Tap ⤓ Save as a file. In the share sheet, choose Save to Files (or iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or Mail to send it to yourself). Find it later in the Files app.
Save a file on Android or a computer
Tap ⤓ Save as a file and a .scene.json file downloads to your downloads folder.
Open a saved file
On the first screen, tap choose a file and pick your .scene.json. Your role, voices, and section settings all come back with it.
Share with your cast
Directors: set up a scene once, Save as a file, and send that file to your actors. Each one just opens it — already cast and ready to run lines.
Keep Scene Partner one click away
Save it so it opens like an app, no typing the address each time.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. An icon lands on your home screen.
Android (Chrome)
Tap the menu ⋮, then Add to Home screen (or Install app).
Computer — Chrome or Edge
Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar. No icon? Open the ⋮ menu and choose Install (or Save and share → Create shortcut, and tick Open as window). Or simply bookmark the page with Ctrl + D (⌘ + D on Mac).
